Making good gnocchi is an art!
This class is perfect for beginners, as you will receive virtual step-by-step guidance on how to combine flour and the right kind of potatoes to make soft, silky gnocchi pillows.
During the one-and-a-half-hour class we will prepare Gnocchi alla Sorrentina: One of the most popular dishes from Campania in Italy! What makes this dish so loved is its simplicity: Mediterranean flavours and authenticity mixed with fun and easy preparation.Â
Making gnocchi by hand, will take you back to a sleepy Italian town where secrets on how to make the perfect consistency of those little gems of potatoes and flour will be revealed.Â
The Sorrento-style gnocchi is wrapped in a creamy tomato and basil sauce, flavoured with mozzarella and grated cheese.
After this class, you won't be able to go back to store-bought gnocchi: they are this good when made properly.
You will receive a list of ingredients after registration.
What you need: a wooden board, a small gnocchi board or a fork, ricer or potato masher, bench scraper. Pan and baking tray.
